Clubbers Drive
Clubbers Drive is the sound of now. It's a show that is beamed across the globe and around the world every week - bringing you the best and most upfront club music, interviews with the biggest names in dance, Aria Club Chart update and a look at whats hot in the Global scene with Gabby from Global recordings. Based in Adelaide, Australia, Clubbers Drive is brought to you by 2 of the leading djs in South Australia, Brendon and Stevie Hart. The show has been voted winner of "Most Popular Radio Show" at the previous 4 SA Dance Music Awards, Clubbers Drive is the benchmark by which dance radio standards are made. The Clubbers Drive radio show takes primetime position on Friday nights every week on Enegy FM Australia. Brendon MoyalDJ Brendon has been at the forefront of the Australian dance scene for almost two decades now, having played all over the country and picking up numerous awards along the way at state and national level. With two DMC titles, countless experience alongside some of the worlds biggest names in dance, music releases throughout the years and a Ministry Of Sound "Clubbers Guide" cd under his belt, it's easy to see why Brendon has become one of Adelaide's biggest ambassadors. At the moment his residencies include HQ, Red Square and Marble Bar as well as hosting the city's no 1 dance show (4 years running at the SA DMA's) "Clubbers Drive" on 92.7 Fresh FM Saturday nights between 10-12 am in Adelaide and 8-10pm on Switch 1197 Brisbane alongside partner in crime Steve Hart. Stephen HartSince bursting onto the club scene in late 1997, Steve has gone from strength to strength to earn a reputation as one of Adelaide's leading house jocks. Since that time Steve has made his way to the top of the house scene playing at pretty much every club in Adelaide, taking away the award for "Best Up and Coming DJ" at the 2005 SA Dance Music Awards and following that up by taking the award for "Most Popular House DJ" the year after in 2006. As well as his club gigs, Steve hosts the radio show "Clubbers Drive" with Adelaide's founding and most well known dj Brendon, which took the "Best Radio Show" award at the 2006 SA Dance Music Awards (and the previous 3 years dance awards). They can be heard every Saturday night on in Adelaide on Fresh FM 92.7 from 10 – 12pm, in Brisbane on Saturday nights from 8 - 10pm on Switch 1197, and online at www.clubtunez.fm on Wednesday nights from 9pm. The most recent of Steve's undertakings see him move into the production realm. His first release with fellow Adelaide dj K2 called "Backroom DJs" on BamBamMuzik reached a credible #33 on the Aria Club Chart (thanks to a great remix by Craig Obey & Ben Kelly :) ) and since then he has remixed the likes of David May, Ruff Drivers Vs Baby D, Sarah Mcleod (currently sitting at #15 in the Aria Club Chart alongside an awesome Denzal Park mix) and soon to come a remix of Thomas Gold Vs Mattius Mencks "Everybody Be Somebody". It is Steve's attitude towards music and entertainment that has seen him escalate himself from early spots at small bars to peaktime performances at Adelaide's major venues over his Dj career. His impeccable track selection and mixing ability as well as entertainment value have quickly ensured that he is a favorite among punters and fellow djs alike. Steve's current residencies include HQ and Marble Bar. |
